I believe productivity starts with understanding ourselves.
Exploring why we struggle to get things done – and turning those lessons into practical action.

A question about productivity led me to explore psychology, communication and the way we work.
Why can't I be productive even after waking up early?
I used to think waking up early, planning my day and having a routine would automatically make me productive. But I realised that following a routine doesn't always mean getting meaningful work done.
I started questioning my routines, habits and expectations.
I began looking beyond productivity tips and asking why certain tasks felt difficult, why I struggled to follow through and why my plans didn't always match my reality.
I became curious about psychology, communication and productivity.
I started exploring how our thoughts, emotions, behaviour, expectations and communication influence the way we work.
I started turning what I learned into practical experiments and content.
Instead of simply collecting information, I wanted to apply ideas in everyday life, understand what works and share useful lessons with others.
Do More vs Understand More
Do More
- Wake up early.
- Make bigger lists.
- Try to finish everything.
- Push yourself harder.
Understand More
- Understand your capacity.
- Recognise your thoughts and behaviour.
- Communicate your expectations clearly.
- Break work into manageable steps.
I realised that productivity isn't always about doing more. Sometimes, it's about understanding what's getting in the way and finding a better way to move forward.
Four ideas shape the way I approach productivity.
Psychology
Understand how your thoughts, emotions, expectations and behaviour influence your actions.
Communication
Build clarity in how you communicate with yourself and others. Clear communication can reduce confusion and make work easier to approach.
Practical Actions
Turn ideas into manageable steps. Understanding something is useful, but applying it is where learning becomes meaningful.
Consistency
Build systems that support you on imperfect days. You don't need to perform at your best every single day to keep making progress.
Working remotely can offer flexibility, but it also brings challenges.
You may be managing deadlines, personal responsibilities, distractions and expectations while trying to stay productive.
You might know what you need to do but still struggle to start, prioritise or finish your work.
I want to help you understand these challenges and explore practical ways to make your work more manageable.
Learn. Understand. Apply.
Through Build with Monitha, I share ideas and practical lessons around:
Productivity
Plan realistically, manage your workload and make progress.
Psychology
Understand the thoughts and behaviours that influence your work.
Communication
Develop clarity in the way you communicate and approach expectations.
Habits and Consistency
Build routines and systems that can work even on imperfect days.
My goal is not to give you another list of things to do. It's to help you understand yourself better and make practical changes that fit your real life.

Let's make work feel more manageable.
